Fisherman’s Island, located on the city’s West Side, is infamous for its mouthwatering seasoning and large varieties of seafood options. The menu list is extensive and covers most of your seafood cravings by the pound like tender jumbo shrimps, lobster, tilapia, catfish, mussels, and scallops. The platters are served in aluminum pans and include well-seasoned and buttery broccoli, corn, and potatoes.
Fisherman’s Island is also quite affordable, with most combination platters priced under $30, which makes the side orders appealing to customers on a budget. The homemade crab salad is the restaurant’s specialty, which tastes like a meaty sensation of crab meat and mayonnaise, and veggies. Though it’s not your typical sit-and-dine environment, with only two tables for customers who don’t want to order out, the under-designed look suites the small, grill-like setting, and the friendly customer service makes up for the wait.
