A breast cancer fundraiser taking place Saturday at the Elk’s Club is an entertaining event to heighten awareness about a serious cause. The Bosom Buddies, a breast cancer organization, are spearheading the event, which features a night of fun, food and entertainment.
“The fundraiser is to help promote awareness and raise money for breast cancer research,” said Cathy Kruse, team leader of the Bosom Buddies.
The event begins at 6 p.m. and features activities like a male pole dancing contest and a “best male leg” contest, where male dancers will be dressed in breast-cancer awareness T-shirts and shorts. Visitors can also play Bingo while enjoying music by Sizzlin Sounds. Read more
